I'm going to start with the kitchen because I am hopelessly in love with my kitchen, and I love cooking for my family. My husband is gone for work alot, so it is usually just my kids and myself. I try to make it fun for them because they weigh about the same as a baby bird weighs. So here are my kitchen tips, tricks and organization.
Here are my favorite tips and tricks from http://diyhshp.blogspot.com/2011/10/did-you-know.html

Reynolds wrap aluminum foil has these nifty little poky in things that keep your foil in place. :)
Marshmellows will help cure a sore throat!? Hmmmm

You can put a paper bag through your printer. My sister in law did this for my nephew's birthday party treat bags. Super cute!
Add garlic immediately to a recipe if you want a light taste of garlic, and at the end of the recipe if you want a stronger taste of garlic.
Expanding Frosting: When you buy a container of cake frosting from the store, whip it with your mixer for a few minutes. You can double it in size. You get to frost more cake/cupcakes with the same amount. You also eat less sugar and calories per serving.
Ok, on to organizing......
